Currently, we are seeking a quality-driven and passionate individual to lead their own culinary team as Executive Sous Chef at one of their most beautiful properties in the Pequannock Township of NJ. This company operates some of the most sought-after living communities and their culinary mission is focused on scratch kitchen operations and utilizing the farm to table model that continues to sweep dining rooms across the country. Their management roles include competitive compensation, bonus potential, and a strong benefits package.

BASE SALARY: $55,000 - $65,000 + full benefits, bonus potential and 401k with company match!

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
  • Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
  • Check freshness and quality of ingredients
  • Assist in the development of menu items
  • Standardize recipes and plate presentations
  • Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests

Executive Chef Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of cost and labor systems
  • Passion for food and cooking techniques
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
