We are seeking a highly-skilled Culinary Director with Chef qualities to manage the kitchen of a luxury senior living facility. If you are tired of the demanding schedule of the culinary world but don't want to sacrifice your creativity and artistry this may be the ideal position for you. This facility has approximately 100 residents and serves an ever changing menu of gourmet meals. You will enjoy a five-day work week with a 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM schedule, the ability to create new menus every two weeks and the opportunity to serve the wonderful residents. This position will be a working chef role as well the opportunity to manage inventory, ordering, cost control, portion control and a six-person team. The company has a long-standing reputation for providing the highest level of care, service and cuisine to its residents.

Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 plus bonus and comprehensive benefits

Candidates must possess the following skill set:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Executive Chef/Kitchen Manager experience in a high-production environment (restaurant or hotel preferred)
  • Ability to manage very quick turn around time and simultaneous meal production for all residents, staff and guests
  • Senior Care or medical experience a plus but not required
  • Proven success in financial management aspects of a kitchen (budgeting, cost control, inventory management, etc.)
  • Creative and innovative
