We are excited to partner with a premier destination for golf and dining near Seattle, WA, seeking an accomplished individual to lead Banquet Operations as their next Banquet Manager. This organization features multiple locations throughout the Pacific Northwest, thus providing tremendous opportunities for continued development and growth both in this role and beyond. The ideal candidate will have experience leading Catering/Banquet operations in a private/public golf club, hotel or stadium/arena/convention center venue. Ability to exhibit success in training/development of team members is a plus, along with in-depth knowledge of culinary and food/beverage operations management is required.

BASE SALARY: $65,000 - $70,000 + 10% bonus potential, generous benefits package and relocation assistance if required

Banquet Manager Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of banquet/catering operations staff
  • Engagement with hosts/guests before, during and after events
  • Pre-planning, execution and follow up of catering events ranging in size from 10-1000+
  • Recruitment, hiring, training of staff
Banquet Manager Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Food and Beverage leadership/management focused in catering/event/banquet operations
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays based on volume and demands of the business
  • Ability to train, mentor, lead and evaluate team members
  • Strong leadership/communication
