We are seeking a talented and creative Executive Sous Chef looking for an opportunity to lead your own made-from-scratch, rustic Americana kitchen? Our restaurant and bar offer patrons a unique, hand-crafted, Americana menu of made-from-scratch, high quality, seasonal selections that give you the chance to express your creativity through menu development. Many of our chefs have gone on to run their own successful restaurants. In addition, you will lead a team of professionals and further enhance your management skills.
This restaurant is part of a highly-rated hotel, consistently listed as a guest favorite for upscale, unique lodging in the heart of Kansas City's thriving downtown. We offer luxury in a comfortable environment with the support of an internationally recognized brand.
Compensation: $50-55,000 plus bonus and exceptional benefits
Candidates must possess the following skill set:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-quality, scratch kitchen
- Proven abilities to be creative through menu design
- History of successfully developing and leading a team
