We are seeking an Executive Chef for a landmark restaurant near Laconia in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. This restaurant has been a local favorite for decades offering the finest in traditional New England fare for guests and catering customers and the surrounding Lakes Region offers everything for the avid outdoorsman. The fortunate Executive Chef candidate will enjoy cooking from scratch, leading your team in meal prep for the restaurant, large catering business, and food trucks and working with customers to plan memorable events. The summer tourist season is demanding but off-season allows for the development of menus, working with catering customers and enjoying a more relaxed schedule.
Compensation: $50-60,000 + bonus of $10-20,000 & fully paid benefits
A potential Executive Chef should have the following experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of leading a $3M+ scratch cooking kitchen as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef
- Experience in banquet and catering management for large groups
- Effective labor management & cost control practices
