We are seeking a dynamic Chef de Cuisine for an authentic Italian restaurant. The concept is part of a privately owned company with a successful 50 year history. The restaurant features decadent Italian classics and an extensive wine list. We hope to find a confident, accomplished chef who is comfortable running the kitchen most days, as the Executive Chef is the acting GM at this location. The company culture is rooted in a healthy teamwork-oriented atmosphere and we are looking for a strong leader to champion the accomplished back of house team. This is an ideal position for a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine ready for a new challenge with unique responsibilities.
Chef de Cuisine Qualifications:
-5 years kitchen experience (not necessarily in a leadership role, but Sous/Lead Line are a plus!)
-Spanish-speaking ability or "Kitchen Spanish"
-Strong Culinary and Management Skills
-At least rudimentary experience and knowledge of Italian Cuisine
Base Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 plus benefits and bonus potential
